The Harp Consort performs The Play of Daniel, a 13th century liturgical "opera" from Beauvais Cathedral. Through plain-chant, medieval pop tunes and trouvère songs it tells the story of Belshazzar's feast, King Darius's victory and Daniel in the lions' den.
